Windham, New Hampshire – Helen T. (Gilligan) Fisher, 80 died Thursday at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH.
Helen was born in Boston, Ma. the daughter of John and Catherine (McLaughlin) Gilligan. She was a graduate of the Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Dorcester, Ma. A housewife and homemaker, Helen had resided in Hingham, MA, for many years on Hancock Road.
While living in Hingham Mrs. Fisher was a communicant of The Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Church.
According to her children Helens family meant a great deal to her and like most grandparents she had a special relationship with her grandchildren.
The widow of Clifford M. Fisher, Sr. survivors include four children; Clifford M. Fisher, JR. and his wife Cheryl of Pelham, NH, Mark S. Fisher and his wife Lisa of Methuen, Alan G. Fisher and his wife Audra of Fremont, Ohio, and her daughter Elaine M. Fisher of Worcester, MA, a sister Alice McKee of Plymouth, MA, 4 grandchildren; Scott, Bryan, Julie, and Mark Fisher and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock in Saint Monicas Church in Methuen with burial to follow in High Street Cemetery of Hingham, MA.
Friends and relatives will be warmly received on Monday from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen, MA.
