Obituary


Albert C. Vozzella 94, a longtime Franklin resident, died Wednesday October 27, 2010 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. He was the husband of the late Rose (Vilensky) Vozzella, who died in 1995.
Born in Norfolk, July 6, 1916 a son of the late Rafael and Gaetana (Anazalone) Vozzella, he was educated in Norfolk & Walpole schools. For more than 43 years, until his retirement in 1981, he worked in the textile production for the former Buckley & Mann Company in Norfolk.
He was a member of and a former steward of the Textile Workers Union of America Local #580. He was also an avid New England Patriots fan.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews, and was the brother of the late Marino, Guy, Orlando, George and Arthur Vozzella, and Evelyn Clark.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Saturday October 30th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com , with a funeral Mass in St. Jude Church 86 Main St. Norfolk, at 10AM.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
Calling hours are Friday from 4-8PM.
