Edna Luvinia Patti, 91 died October 27, 2010 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. She was the the beloved wife of the late Joseph Sherman Patti and devoted mother of Sharon L. Lombardo and her husband Anthony. loving grandmother of Jennifer A. Cuomo; Rebecca L. Purdy; Paul A. and David J. Lombardo. Dear great grandmother of Dennis Anthony Cuomo and Danielle Rose Purdy.
During WWII Edna was a member of the WAAC and worked for the General Accounting Office in Washington as a payroll supervisor before marring Joseph in 1947 and moving to Baltimore. She worked tirelessly for the Federal Government at Fort Howard and Public Health Administration until retiring in 1979. She spent the next 15 years helping Sharon with her 4 children. She later developed sever Alzheimer's, but was always had a kind word to say to everyone. Even in her last years with Alzheimer's she would say "I love you" to all she met. Her kind heart was truly revealed during this chapter of her life. We all loved her and will miss her gentle spirt.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, October 29, from 5 to 8 P.M. All are invited to a Graveside Funeral Service on Saturday, October 30, in the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens at 10:30 A.M. Please meet at the funeral home by 10 A.M. and at that time will process to the cemetery.
