Mrs. Ann G. Antonelli, age 82, of Somerville, passed away suddenly in her home, Tuesday, December 9th. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Louise (Losapio) Goffredo. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph R. Antonelli Sr. Mrs. Antonelli was a dedicated homemaker and was a Somerville resident for nearly sixty years. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ann´s memory to the Ralph and Ann Antonelli Scholarship Fund, c/o Malden Catholic High School, 99 Crystal St., Malden, MA 02148.
In addition to her late husband and parents, Mrs. Antonelli is preceded in death by two brothers; Anthony and Mathew Goffredo. She is survived by her children, Ralph Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Arlington, Joseph and his wife Pattie of Medford, Robert and his wife Jane of Somerville, Richard and his wife Carol of Medford, Maryann Cappello and her husband Jeffrey of Stoneham. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Christopher, Mark, Tracy, Susan, Kara, Robert and Jeffrey. She is further survived by her sisters, Alice Roberts, Mary Boswell, Jean Farina all of Cambridge and her brother Jerome (Angelo) Goffredo of West Roxbury. Sister in-law of Jean Stanger of Virginia, Rocco J. Antonelli of Andover, A. Frank Antonelli of Florida, Rudy Antonelli of Nevada and Mary Antonelli of Somerville.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Saturday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church 399 Medford St. Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
