Everett “Jack” Jackson, 75, of Peoria passed away at 1:15am Monday October 25, 2010 at his residence.
He was born on February 28, 1935 in Trenton, MO the son of Jewel E. and Mary A. Ellis Jackson. His great-grandparents Amos and Mary Ellis in Trenton, MO raised Jack.
Surviving is his long time companion and best friend Janet Koch of East Peoria. His parents, grandparents, and one brother preceded him in death.
He was an honorably discharged US Navy Veteran. He was currently president of the U.S. Singletons, Peoria Chapter. He was an avid golfer and at one time worked for the Peoria Park District at Newman Golf Course.
Cremation Rites have been accorded with a memorial service scheduled for 11am Monday Nov 1 2010 at Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington with Rev. Robert DeBolt officiating. Memorials may be given in his name to Operation Santa or to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
