Ruth Novin (Greenfield) of Revere died on October 24 at the Beth Israel Hospital. She was 79 years old.
Ruth was born in Chelsea and was a resident of Revere for many years. She attended the Chelsea schools and graduated from Chelsea High School. Ruth was a longtime employee of the Boston Globe and Boston Herald newspapers. She was an avid Bridge player.
Ruth was the devoted mother of Mitchell Novin and Jonathan Novin. She was the loving daughter of the late Nathan and Esther Greenfield. Ruth was the dear sister of the late Ronald Greenfield and Fred Greenfield. She was the loving grandmother of Nick and Alex Novin.
Graveside services at the Sudilkov Cemetery, 232 Fuller St., Everett on Tuesday, October 26 at 11:00 AM. Contributions in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home Foundation, 17 Lafayette Avenue, Chelsea, MA 02150.
