FALL RIVER … Isidoro T. Pacheco, 84, of Fall River died Saturday, October 23, 2010 after a brief illness.
He was the husband of Sara (Goncalves) Pacheco.
He was born in St. Michaels, Azores a son of the late Jose and Helen (Rebello) Pacheco and had lived in Fall River since 1969.
He was employed as a laborer with Nota Construction Company for 25yrs before retiring.
He was a communicant of Espirito Santo Church, Alden Street, Fall River.
Mr. Pacheco enjoyed yard work, gardening, playing cards, and loved going to church and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivor include his widow, 2 sons: Isadore M. Pacheco, Jr. of Fall River and Jose D. Pacheco of North Carolina, a daughter Elsie M. Gouveia of Fall River, 2 brothers: Manuel T. Pacheco and Jose T. Pacheco, a sister Maria T. Viveiros, 3 grandchildren: Chelsea Pacheco, Nicholas Gouveia, and Ashley Gouveia all of Fall River, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday at 8AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9AM at Espirito Santo Church, Alden Street, Fall River. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Tuesday 6 – 9 PM.
