Obituary

WORCESTER-Helen S. (Siemienski) Fleming, 92, of Dodge Park Rest Home passed away Saturday, Oct. 23 in the Rose Monahan Hospice House. Her husband, James M. Fleming died in 1994. She leaves four children, John T. Fleming of Worcester, Kathleen S. Milano of Littleton, CO, Edmund W. Fleming of Pittsburgh, PA and Diane J. Potter of Barre; her sister, Jenny Siemienski of Worcester and nine grandchildren. Two sons, Jeffrey R. Fleming and James J. Fleming and her sister, Rose Siemienski predeceased her.

Helen was born in Gardner the daughter of Ladislaus and Helena (Milko) Siemienski. She graduated from Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing. Helen was a WW II veteran serving as a nurse with the Navy and later worked as a registered nurse at Worcester City Hospital.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and the former St. Charles Borromeo Church.

Helen lived a life of marvelous love and service to her family and children. For six decades, she nurtured and cherished them. She will be greatly missed and she is deeply loved. We will always love you Mom and Gram.

Helen’s funeral will be on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
