Robin Edmonds Miller, age 52 of Stonington, died suddenly on Wednesday, December 10th at Hartford Hospital.
Robin was on September 14, 1951 in Manchester, NH the daughter of Curtis and Janice Edmonds on New Hampshire.
In addition to her parents, Robin is survived by her two children, Bianca Nardi and Curtis Miller, her siblings, Robert and Julie Edmonds of new Hampshire, nieces and nephews.
She was very involved and respected in state politics, currently serving as Chairperson of the State Board of Mediation and Arbitration for the State of Connecticut Department of Labor, and was serving as Chairperson for the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services Employee Review Board.
Robin was also very active in social and civic affairs in the Town of Stonington and the State of Connecticut. She was serving as the Town of Stonington Registrar of Voters and very active in the Republican party. She also served as Past Chair, and currently Vice Chair of the Stonington Town Republican Committee.

St. Patrick Church in Mystic was filled to capacity Saturday morning for Robin's Funeral Mass. Fr. Charles McGrail, Pastor, celebrated the 10am Mass assisted by Mr. Jim Brown and Mr. Brian Henry. Robin's children, Bianca and Curtis placed the pall on Robin's casket as "On Eagles Wings" was played as the processional Hymn. Other musical selections included "The 23rd Psalm" and "Amazing Grace".
Fr. McGrail offered a touching homily touching on Robin's respected professional career and her faith in God. A close family friend, Lisa Burke later gave words in A special remembrance recalling Robins love of her children, family, and freinds as well as her strong determination and love of life.
Following the Mass, Stonington Police and the Mystic Fire Department escorted the procession to Elm Grove Cemetery where Fr. McGrail offered committal prayers.
During Visitation on Friday at The Dinoto Funeral Home, Lt. Governor Jodi M. Rell, US Representative Robert Simmons, and State Senator Cathy Cook, as well as a delegation of Republican State Leaders and the Connecticut State Police Department presented Robin's children with a folded State of Connecticut Flag to serve as a remembrance of Robin's unselfish service to The State of Connecticut.
