Obituary

Mr. Arnold H. Wagner, 74, of 584 Goebel Street, Berlin, NH died on Wednesday Oct. 20, 2010 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Milan, NH on Jan. 18, 1936 the son of Harold C. and Elizabeth (Delano) Wagner and was a lifelong resident of the area. Arnold was a graduate of St. Patrick High School and was a US Marine Corps and a US Army veteran. He was employed at Prince’s IGA for 40 years prior to his retirement. Arnold was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Randolph and a member of the CPL Richard Demers Marine Corps League. He retired from the Berlin Police Dept. Auxiliary after 25 years of service.

Members of the family include his wife Linda (Gallant) Wagner of Berlin; four daughters Lydia Corcoran of Dummer, Loretta Goodrum of Berlin, Lilly Guerin of Berlin and Laura Fry of Northfield; six grandchildren; two sisters Jean Shields of West Milan and Elizabeth Matthews of Berlin; two brothers Vernon Wagner of North Carolina and Chester Wagner of Berlin; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Bertina Fortin.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 26, 2010 at 4 PM in the Chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the Willis Cemetery in Dummer. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 PM, prior to the funeral service.
