
Kenneth J. Peloquin, 64, of Reston, VA died Saturday, October 9th at his home in Virginia.
Born in Manville, he was the son of the late Noel J. and Cecile Edith (Beauchesne) Peloquin. He was also the step-son of Harriet Schnorr Peloquin of North Smithfield. He was raised in Manville and North Smithfield.
Mr. Peloquin was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War as an Aviation Mechanic and was stationed on board the USS Corpus Christie Bay.
He was a graduate of Roger William University, Class of 1974.
Kenny was employed by Superior Plastic Products in Cumberland for 6 yrs. prior to relocation to Virginia.
He was a resident of Virginia for the past 30 years and was employed as a Product Manager for 21 years by Med-Surg and later by Enterprise Rent-A-Car for several years.
Kenny loved being near the ocean, walking along the beach, and had a love for local seafood.
He is survived by his step-brother, Harold A. Schnorr of Mapleville, and step-sister Beverly Schnorr Larmie and her husband Wayne, of Dover, MA. and his longtime close friend Helga Knapp of Oakton, VA. He is also survived by his nieces Kara A. and Meredith H. Larmie of Dover, MA, several aunts and many cousins.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:30 am in St. James Church, Division St., Manville. Burial with military honors will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Visiting hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 222 Richmond St., Suite 204, Providence, RI. Arrangements are by the Menard Funeral Home, 71 Central St., Manville.
