In Taunton, October 19, 2010 Evelyn (Alvarnaz) Paige passéd away peacefully at Morton Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 26, 1930, she was a resident of Taunton and later of Berkley. Evelyn was the beloved wife of Forrest Paige for 60 years. Evelyn was the daughter of the late Manuel & Mary Alvarnaz. Educated in Taunton schools, she was a long time employee of Swank Inc. After her retirement, she enjoyed, above all, spending time with her family, and tending to her gardens. She loved playing cards and doing crossword puzzles. Evelyn leaves behind two daughters, Christine Jonah and husband Chuck of Dedham, MA., Lorna Paige of Taunton and two sons, Russell Paige and his wife Donna of North Dighton, and Forrest (Mick) Paige of California. She was a much loved grand mother of seven grand children and seven great grand children and grandson Jay who preceded her in death. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 22nd at 11 am. at St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
