WORCESTER-Pastor Torres, 82, of Worcester, died Sunday, October 17th in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Alejandra Pastor Torres; two sons, Manuel Torres of Canovanas, PR, and Michael Torres of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Luz Maria Rodriguez of Guayanilla, PR; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
He was born in Guayanilla, PR, he son of Manuel and Victoria (Morales) Torres and moved here 11 years ago. Mr. Torres was a maintenance worker for a bus company in Puerto Rico, retiring in 1999 and was a member of the Pentecostal Christian Church.
Calling hours are from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 21st in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. A service will be held at 6:00 P.M. during the calling hours. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Carolina, PR.
