Madeline M. “Maddy” Assetta, 63 of Medford, died Saturday after a long illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Phyllis (Costa) and John Lutoff. Madeline was a Cashier, at Trade Joe’s in Arlington for 2 years. She love to play bingo.
Beloved wife of Robert Assetta. Devoted mother of John Iovaine and his wife Franquelina of Leicester, Anthony Iovaine of Leominster, Cameron Wideman, Madeline Wideman-Robbins and her husband John all Medford. Also survived by 13 loving grandchildren. Sister of Joyce Carbone of Tewksbury. Sister in law of Paul Melancon of Cambridge.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St. Medford at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8.
Service will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
