Fournier, M. Lucille (Birrittieri) age 73, of Squantum, passed away on October 16, 2010, peacefully at home after a brief illness.
Beloved wife of Frank X. Fournier of Squantum. Loving mother of Frank A. Fournier, Steven J. Fournier and his wife Cheryl, Laura E. Hobin and her husband Ned and Edward J. Fournier and his wife Kelly, all of Quincy and Susan M. Rowse and her husband Danny of No. Easton. Daughter of the late Domenic Birrittieri and Eleanor (DiStasio). Sister of Harold Birrittieri of FL, Carolyn Topping of AL, Domenic Birrittieri of Dorchester, Cara Smith of Medfield, Lisa Birrittieri of Quincy and Gina Enock of NY. Grandmother of Amanda, Ashley and Thomas Fournier of Squantum and Jennifer Rowse of No. Easton. Also survived by her step mother Michelina Birrittieri of Dorchester and many nieces and nephews.
Lucille was an incredible wife, mother and grandmother. With her artistic talent, Lucille enjoyed drawing decorating, and gardening, while creating a comfortable home. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. Lucille and her husband spent the last twenty winters in Tamarac, FL, and many summers at Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. She was Past Commodore of the Norfolk Yacht Club in Dorchester. Lucille will be remembered as a warm caring woman who loved her family, friends and animals. She will be sadly missed by all.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 3 - 7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY.
A funeral service will follow at 7 PM.
