Wilson, Elizabeth A. (Kelly), of West Roxbury, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 18, 2010 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late George Wilson. Betty was the loving mother of Peter Wilson and his wife Annette of Braintree, Kathleen Healey and her husband Frank of Bradford, Daniel Wilson of Dedham, Matthew Wilson and his wife Karen of Sagamore, Elizabeth Wilson and her husband Elie Fakhry of West Roxbury, and the late Frederick Wilson. Betty “Nana” will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Lynne, Kelly, Brian, Kemma, Anna, Matthew, Andrew, and George. She was predeceased by six siblings, Mary, Joseph, Teresa Kelly McGregor, Fr. Frederick, Rose and Thomas Kelly.
Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. on Thursday October 21, at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
Betty retired from the MBTA in 1992 and lived in Centerville, Massachusetts for several years. She co-authored “Helping Each Other in Widowhood”, and worked with the Widow Service line in the 1970’s.
