Jerry P. Kincaid, 73

Dateline: Canton, Ohio

Jerry P. Kincaid, 73, of Canton, Ohio formerly of Norton and Mansfield passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday October 15, 2010 at the Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He was the beloved husband of the late Annette C. (Wellman) Kincaid to whom he was wed for 45 years at the time of her death on June 18, 2002.
Born in Canton, Ohio on May 14, 1937 he was a dear son of Pauline (Reiter) Nofsinger of Ohio and the late Herman Kincaid.
Jerry grew up and was educated in Canton, Ohio. At age 15 he moved to Massachusetts and settled in Mansfield. Following his marriage, he moved to Norton where he raised his family and resided for many years until several years ago when he returned to his hometown of Canton, Ohio.
Mr. Kincaid retired in 2003 after working at Greystone of Lincoln for 17 years. He had previously been employed at Hilray Metal and Automatic Machine, both in Attleboro and had also worked at Sinclair Manufacturing and the former Frates Restaurant, both in Norton.
Jerry loved to bowl and especially treasured the wonderful times spent in the presence of his adoring family.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his devoted children Kathy Dalton and her husband David of North Attleboro, Brian Kincaid and his companion Diane Precourt of Seekonk and Marianne Hayden and her husband Peter of Norton. The dear brother of George Kincaid of Indiana, Marilyn Evanoff of Ohio, James Kincaid of Florida, Donna Minch of Florida, Louise Schlosser of Ohio, William Kincaid of Ohio, Richard Kincaid of Ohio, Donald Kincaid of Ohio, Linda Schott of Ohio, Kathy Russell of Wyoming, Thomas Kincaid of Ohio, Robert Kincaid of Ohio, Daniel Kincaid of Ohio, and the late Charles Kincaid, Betty Coss and Tammy Kincaid, Jerry is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Krysta Watson and her husband William, Jr. of Taunton and Trevor Kincaid of Seekonk, his loving fiancé Ella Brown of Ohio, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday October 21st from 9:00- 11:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visiting hours on Thursday morning at 11:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Norton Common Cemetery, Norton.
