Obituary

Lloyd “Wayne” Fales, age 71, of Broxton GA passed away on Friday, October 15, 2010, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas GA. Mr. Fales, a native of Coffee County, Georgia was born May 26, 1939; he is the son of the late Calier Van Buren and Evelyn Pickren Fales. He was a retired Police Officer, 28 years with the City of Douglas and a member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 17, 2010, Reedy Branch Baptist Church with Burial in the Reedy Branch Church Cemetery near Broxton GA.. The Family will be receiving friends on Saturday at Sims Funeral Home; calling hours are 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Survivors include: Wife, Joneal Jones Fales, Daughters, Jackie Leigh (Greg) Spicer, Alapaha GA, Tammy Lynn (Mitchell) Kelly, Broxton GA, Son, Lloyd Wayne, Jr. and (Valerie) Fales, Broxton GA, Grandchildren, Cal Fales, Jessica Spicer, Jaycee Spicer, Bailey Phelps, Raylyn Phelps and Joshua Berka, several nieces and nephews. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
