Shirley F. Wright, 90, of Methuen died on Saturday October 9, 2010 at her home. Shirley was born, raised and educated in Haverhill and has lived in Methuen for many years. Before her retirement, she worked as a secretary for over 40 years at Greico Brothers Clothing of Lawrence. Shirley was an avid reader and especially enjoyed reading English mystery novels. She was also an avid Red Sox fan.
The widow of Benjamin B. Wright, her family members include her son, Jeffrey W. Wright of Methuen and her sister, Judith A. and her husband, Francis DeCesare of Salem, NH and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Edward Croston, Jr.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be on Monday October 18, 2010 at 11:00am at Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements are by The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
