Jeannine L. (Chicoine) Jarret 78, of Newton St. died Wednesday at home after a long courageous battle with ALS. She was the loving wife of the late Dennis Jarret. Mrs. Jarret was born in Manville, a daughter of the late Eugene and Marguerite (Boutiette) Chicoine. She was a warehouse worker for many years for Mark Steven Corp. in Woonsocket before retiring. Mrs. Jarret was a lifelong communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Woonsocket.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by two sons; Dennis Jarret Jr. and his wife Patricia of Hope, Ronald Jarret and his wife Elizabeth of Worcester, a daughter Mary Marcoux and her husband Peter of Woonsocket, six grandchildren; Robert, Shawn, Justin, Adam, Bethany, and Luke and a sister Pauline Dumas of North Smithfield. She was predeceased by a son Robert Jarret, and her sister Madeleine Galipeau.
Her funeral will be held Monday from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. at 8:00AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket.
