WORCESTER/SCITUATE: Alan F. Flint 60, of 14 Marwood Rd., Worcester, died suddenly October 8 in Amherst, Ma.
He leaves his children Jeffrey A. and Sarah E. Flint of Weymouth, his mother Jean M. (Barrass) Flint of Holden, a brother David R. Flint and his wife Lucinda of Worcester, a sister Marilyn J. Glasier of Worcester, his former wife Elizabeth S. (Sherrill) Flint of Weymouth, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by a sister Susan E. Flint in 1959.
Alan worked as a Director of Flow Cytometry Lab @ Boston Children’s Hospital for 28 years. He lived in Scituate for many years, before returning to the Worcester area.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Harold F. Flint. He graduated from Leicester High School, Worcester State College, and received a Master’s Degree from Clark Univ. all in Worcester. He loved the ocean and gardening.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 16 from 1 to 3p.m. in the MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A private family Memorial Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours. Please omit flowers.
