Obituary




Laconia----Bradner “Brad” Ian Walker, formerly of Laconia, died unexpectedly on August 2, 2009 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Brad was born in Laconia on June 29, 1962, a son of Herb and Mary (Davis) Walker. He attended local schools and graduated from Laconia High School with the Class of 1980. He played baseball and ice hockey and played on the Bantam Hockey Team that won the Class B State Championship in 1974.
Brad worked in construction in Laconia, Florida and Phoenix.
Brad is survived by his father and mother, Herb & Mary (Davis) Walker of Laconia; three brothers, Stephen Walker of Gilmanton and Douglas Walker and Stuart Walker both of Laconia and a sister, Leslie Caputo, of Lebanon. He is also survived by two nieces, two nephews and many aunts, uncles, and special cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ted and Jeanne Walker, his maternal grandmother, Madeline J. Davis, and his maternal grandfather, Donald Davis.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.
Private burial services will be held in Meredith Village Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Brad to the Lakes Region Scholarship Fund for the Class of 1980, PO Box 7312, Gilford, NH 03247-7312.
