Judith “Judy” Carter McGahan, 59, of Worth County, Georgia, died December 7, 2003, at her home.
Graveside services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, December 10, 2003, in Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Tony Haefs officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 Tuesday evening.
Mrs. McGahan was born February 10, 1944, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late Eugene “Gene” Carter and Lois Hilton Carter. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she was a retired Independent Insurance Agent with C.T. Lowndes Agency in Summerville, S.C. Mrs. McGahan was a 1962 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. McGahan is survived by her husband: Wayne M. McGahan, Worth County, Georgia; 2 daughters: Virginia Kathleen Hill, Worth County, Georgia and Tootsie Jeanine Wiley, Kettle Falls, Washington; two sisters: Sue Fryer, Albany, Georgia and Faye Wiggins, Fitzgerald; 4 grandchildren: Jamie, John Christopher, Anthony Wayne and Katlyn Kathleen.
