Rosalina “Sito Rosie” (Camara) Joseph, age 94, of Fall River, passed away Oct 12, 2010. She was the wife of the late Daher A. Joseph & the daughter of the late Jose & Jorgina (Souza) Camara. Rosie was a homemaker & mother who enjoyed shopping, cooking, reading, listening to Country Music, and spending time with her family. She was a past member of the St. Anthony of the Desert Ladies Guild.
She is survived by her 3 daughters: Bernice Quental of Fall River, Janice Joseph of Somerset & FL and Geraldine Joseph of Fall River; 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews and daughter-in-laws Rosemary Joseph and Emily Joseph. She was mother of the late Lawrence G. Joseph Sr. & Gordon Joseph, and the sister of the late Manuel “Mac”, Mary, Joseph, Georgianna, Connie, Ethyl, Evelyn, Edelvina “Tevi”, James and George.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Friday at 9 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony of the Desert Church, Eastern Ave. at 10 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4-8 P.M.
