Alan D. Fugere Jr., of Berlin, died unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 10th. He is survived by his father, Alan D. Fugere Sr. of West Boylston and his mother, Maureen (Finn) Leonard and her husband Steve of Berlin.
Alan was born in Framingham and has been a life long resident of Berlin. He attended Nashoba Regional High School where he was a member of the hockey team and graduated class of 2001. Alan was employed as a technician for the FIBA Technologies Co. in Millbury. Alan enjoyed playing hockey, fishing and all outdoor activities.
Besides his parents, Alan is survived by his two brothers, Steve Fugere of Hudson, Nick Fugere of West Boylston and his two sisters, Kristy Fugere and Nicole Fugere, both of Berlin. He is also survived by his Grandmother, Dorothy (Morrison) Finn of Westboro, wife of the late Frank H. Finn; his grandmother, Ruth (Sharp) Fugere-Downs of Worcester; his grandfather, Don Fugere of Worcester and many cousins, Aunts, Uncles and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 14thfrom 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Grace Baptist Church, 353 River Road, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Luke’s Cemetery, Westboro.
