Emma L. (Martineau) Thibeault, 90, of High Street, Derry, NH died Tuesday January 29, 2002 at the Villa Crest Nursing Home, Manchester. She was born in Keene, NH on March 20, 1911, a daughter of the late Germain and Mary (Desrussier) Martineau. She was a resident of Derry for 55 years, formerly living in Keene. She was a graduate of Keene High School. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Derry where she was a member of the Tabernacle Society. She was also a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Leo S. Thibeault in 1994.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra O’Brien, of Merrimack, NH, Sally Phelan, of Hooksett, NH, one son Gene Thibeault, of Colfax, CA, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 1, at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry, NH in the spring. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry on Thursday, January 31, from 3-6PM.
