Roger Lee Jordan, 59 of Louisville went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2010 .
He was retired from Swift Company and currently served as a security guard. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam war, a member of Clifton Heights Baptist Church, former minister of music where he led the children’s choir and was an avid baseball fan. One of his proudest moments was watching his son, Casey, win the Little League World Series with Valley Sports.
He is survived by his son, Casey Lee Jordan, step-son, Clayton Jones, sisters, Sandy Kersey (Mark) and Lisa Clark, nieces and nephews; Mark Kersey, Ellen London, Tyler Clark and Diana Howell-Kersey .
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 , Thursday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Radcliff, KY.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to The Healing Place.
