Obituary

David Joseph Flenner, 65, of Omega died Sunday, October 10, 2010, at his residence. Private funeral services and burial will be held at a later date.

Mr. Flenner was born on November 28, 1944 in Altoona, Pennsylvania and was the son of Joseph R. Flenner and Virginia M. Hoffman Flenner, both deceased. He was a retired engineer with Susquehanna Broadcasting Company in York, Pennsylvania and a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He was also a member of the York County Amateur Radio Club and had lived in Omega three years (formerly of Mount Wolf, Pennsylvania).

Mr. Flenner is survived by his wife, Kaye Lewis Flenner of Omega; one son, Brian Jackson of Wilmington, Delaware; three daughters, Gwen Robinson of Omega, Wanda Myers of York, Pennsylvania and Sherry Allen of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Richard Kuny oaf Altoona, Pennsylvania and Kris Kuny of Washington, D.C.; five sisters, Yvonne Gibboney and Rosalie Kenny, both of Altoona, Pennsylvania, Darlene Kuny of Forest Heights, Maryland, Cynthia Heath of Ohio and Annie Kuny of Altoona, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one aunt and uncle, Ruth and Don Slippey, both of Duncansville, Pennsylvania.
