Mary T. “Sis” Welch, 83 of Medford, died Friday unexpectedly in the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA.
Born in Somerville, she lived all her life in Medford and was the daughter of the late Delia (Boyle) and Luke Small.
Mary was a Home Health Aid, with Somerville Visiting Nurse Association for 25 years and retired in 1980.
Beloved wife of the late William Welch. Devoted mother of Stephen Welch of Wilmington, Patricia McGrath of Woburn, and Deborah Talbot of Wakefield. Loving grandmother of Kerri Finnegan, Erin Abreu, Christopher Welch, Annie and Haley Talbot. Also survived by 5 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Joseph Small of Medford, Eileen Hodapp of Falmouth, James Small of Stoneham and the late Luke Small.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
