Obituary

Frank J Janak of Holman, Texas passed away Friday, October 8, 2010.

Frank J Janak was born on January 21, 1920 the son of Bartek and Julie (Kristoff) Janak in Holman, Texas.

Frank was an Army Veteran serving in WWII as a Sgt. In Co. “D” 601st Military Police Battalion. His greatest enjoyment in life was fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his sister Lorene and husband Robert E. Balzer of La Grange; sister-in-law Mary Janak of Spring; brother-in-law Edgar Tiedt of La Grange; nephews John M. Janak, Robert D. Balzer, James B. Janak, Kenneth A. Janak, Clayton C. Janak, Christopher D. Janak, Edgar Tiedt Jr. and Larry Tiedt; nieces Mary Ann Cauthern and Lisa Renee Lantzsch; along with six great nephews and ten great nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bartek and Julie Janak; brothers John, George, and Jimmie Janak; and sister Lillian Tiedt.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday October 10, 2010 from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. Family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday October 11, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Holman.

Interment will follow at the church cemetery

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church of Holman or to the charity of one’s choice.
