Mary A. (Walsh) Penney age 59, died at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers on Tuesday, October 05, 2010 following a courageous 10 month battle with Cancer.
Born July 30th, 1951 in Malden Massachusetts, Mary lived in Tewksbury Massachusetts and she worked for Comcast in Chelmsford Massachusetts for 17 years, previously she was an employee for Boston Gas for over a decade.
Mary was the beloved wife of David B Penney Sr. for 32 years and the loving mother of David B Penney Jr. of Ipswich and Katelyn W. Penney of Lowell Ma. Survived by her Brother Fred and Sister in-law Virginia Walsh of Vernon Ct and many nieces and nephews. Mary was the daughter of Fredrick J. Walsh Sr. and Mary (Horgan) Walsh and sister of the late Thomas J. Walsh.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 in the funeral home. Her funeral will begin on Friday, Oct. 8, at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. William's Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte 38) Tewksbury. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 will be appreciated.
