Julie M. (Blazonis) Wyman, 85 years old, widow of the late William F. Wyman Jr. who died in 1986, died Monday morning at Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Lowell on April 4, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Louise (Russas) Blazonis and received her education in the Lowell schools.
For many years, Mrs. Wyman worked at the Honneywell Corporation in both Lowell and Billerica in the Human Resource Office. After the closing of the Honneywell facilities, she worked in the same capacity for Cambridge Tool and Dye in North Billerica until her retirement. Mrs. Wyman loved her trips to the beach, her daily neighborhood walks and most of all loved being with an enjoying her family. She was a lifelong resident of the Belvidere section of Lowell and a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
She is survived by four sons and daughters in law, William F. Wyman III and his wife Christine, Brian J. Wyman and his wife Nancy, Wayne P. Wyman and his wife Erin all of Lowell and Robert T. Wyman and his wife Effie of Portsmouth, NH; twelve grandchildren, William F. Wyman IV, Jeffrey J. Wyman, Kristen E. Wyman, Laura J. Sirios, Lisa A. Wyman, Kimberley F. Wyman, Erin A. Wyman, Alex W. Wyman, Christopher J. Wyman, Katia Wyman, Gianna Wyman and Nicholas Wyman; four great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Blazonis of Lowell and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Blazonis was also the sister of the late Peter, Anthony, Wallace, Walter, Stanley, Franny, Minnie Blazonis and Jane McKeon.
WYMAN- Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, October 7, from 4 until 6 pm at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 NESMITH ST (Rte.38). Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 8 at 9:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Church. Everyone is to meet at Church as there will be no procession from the Funeral Home. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Should friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Giving Program, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Arrangements are by the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, LOWELL.
