Billy Dan “Beau” Kilgore, age 63, died on October 3, 2010 at his home in Coffeeville, MS. Mr. Kilgore was born in Grenada, MS on June 8, 1947 to William Marion Kilgore and Margaret F. Kilgore. Beau attended the University of Mississippi. He was a veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He worked as a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad. Mr. Kilgore attended the Church of Christ in Coffeeville, MS and the Heartsong Church in Memphis, TN. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed reading and he loved his dogs.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Church of Christ, in Coffeeville, MS. The funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM at the Coffeeville Church of Christ in Coffeeville, MS with Rev. Donald Roberson officiating. Interment will take place at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, TN.
Beau is survived by one son, David Bret (Amy) Kilgore, of Collierville, TN; his mother, Margaret F. Kilgore of Coffeeville, MS and one granddaughter, Savannah Kilgore of Collierville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Marion Kilgore.
