She is also survived by two brothers, Tommaso and Vittorio Matassa, and two sisters, Lucia DeFalco and Giannina DeFalco, all of Pontecorvo, Italy, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Gaetano Matassa and her infant grandson, Arnold Morgan. Mary’s family would like to thank her dear friend Nina Dailey for her support, friendship, and care and comfort she gave to Mary during her final days.
At Mary’s request, there will be no visiting hours. Interment will be privately held in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beverly at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Rd., Ste. 400, Waltham, MA, 02451-1991.
