MANCHESTER-Jennie S. Nassoura, 92, died October 1, 2010 at the Elliot Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on September 16, 1918 the daughter of Hanna and Gaby (Maroon) Stephen and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She enjoyed cooking, baking and church functions.
She was the widow of Habib Nassoura who died April 30, 1999.
Members of her family include two daughters Joyce Kinney and Janice Stewart both of Manchester, two sons, Douglas Nassoura and Ronnie Nassoura both of Manchester, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES-Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St..
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Cedars Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
