Belmont---Linda C. (Gilbert) Vaillancourt, 66, of 22 Heritage Terrace, died at her home on Wednesday, September 29, 2010.
Mrs. Vaillancourt was born August 22, 1944 in Laconia, N.H., the daughter of Rosaario J. and Rita R. (Lacasse) Gilbert. She was a lifelong resident of the Laconia/Belmont area and had been employed at the St. Francis Home and at Lakes Region Manufacturing before retiring in March of 1997.
Mrs. Vaillancourt was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family.
Mrs. Vaillancourt is survived by three sons, Roland L. Vaillancourt and his wife, Pamela, of Florida, Tracy A. Vaillancourt and his wife, Angela, and Dennis Vaillancourt and his wife, Cindy, all of Laconia; a daughter, Denise R. Brunelle, and Spencer of Gilmanton; eight grandchildren, Rhyan, Samantha, Jonathan, Dominick, Desirae, Savanna, Hayden and Jessica; three great grandchildren, Hailie, Gavin and Zachary, her mother, Rita R. Gilbert, of Belmont; a brother, Richard Gilbert, of Belmont; a sister, Germaine Foster, of Canterbury; two nieces and a nephew. In addition to her father, Mrs. Vaillancourt was predeceased by her husband of thirty-two years, Raymond J. Vaillancourt, in 2002.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 4, 2010 from 2:00-4:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. followed by a funeral service at 4:00PM also at the Funeral Home.
