New Bedford – Gayle (Bariteau) Amaral, age 49 years, died at home with her loved ones by her side, Tuesday, September 28, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Gayle was the loved mother of Kyle Amaral, and Jade (Amaral) Areias and her husband Joshua both of New Bedford. She was the loving grandmother of Amaree Amaral. Gayle was the sister of Gary Bariteau of New Bedford.. She was the daughter-in-law of Esmeira Amaral of New Bedford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Amaral was a daughter of the late Normand J. and Claire Aldea (Jacques) Bariteau. Gayle was born in New Bedford.
In accordance with her wishes, Gayle will be cremated. Relatives and friends will be invited to a celebration of her life on Sunday October 3rd from the hours of 6-8 P.M.
