Mr. Marshall Ray Norman, age 83, husband of the late Dorthy Hardy Norman, of Dobson, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010 at Northern Surry Hospital. He was born in Surry County on November 5, 1926 to the late Hardin and Virginia Baker Norman.Mr. Norman was a self-employed Golf Course Manager and farmer as well served in the Army in WWII. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.Mr. Norman is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Joey Wall of Siloam; and three grand-daughters, Jolean, Joanna and Julie Wall.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Cox-Needham Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev.
