Debra (Yenulevich) Azevedo, 52, of Attleboro formerly of Norton passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 27, 2010 at home. She was the wife of Peter J. Azevedo.
Born in Bitburg, Germany on August 20, 1958 she was a loving daughter of Bernard and Alice (Mellor) Yenulvich of Falmouth.
Being the daughter of a father serving in the armed forces she grew up and was educated in many parts of the world including Germany, Oklahoma and Carver, MA.
For over six months Debbie was employed as a bartender at Juniors Bar and Grille in Attleboro and formerly was a bartender at the Sportsman’s Cafe in the Chartley section of Norton for eight years
Debbie loved the ocean, the outdoors and trips taken to nearby beaches. Her family and friends were the focal point of her life. She was truly a people person and will always be remembered for the ways in which she lived life to its fullest. She had made her home in Attleboro for the past 4 years and had formerly resided in Norton for over 10 years.
In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by her devoted children Shane Azevedo of Norton, Shannon Azevedo of Buzzards Bay, Lance Azevedo of Mansfield and Arian Azevedo of Plainville.
The dear sister of Michael Yenulevich of North Carolina, Jane Guresh of Falmouth, Donnie Yenulevich of Carver and twins Kevin Yenulevich of Carver and Kurt Yenulevich of Falmouth, Debbie is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Ava Azevedo and Aiden Clark both of Buzzards Bay.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Saturday October 2nd at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church 1 Power Street Norton. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours are omitted and funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. Norton.
