Obituary

Harold S. White, 84 years old, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Sunday morning Sept. 26, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lowell on April 17, 1926, he was a son of the late Warren and Yvonne (Trudel) White and received his education in the Lowell schools.
During World War II, Mr. White served in the United States Navy. For many years he was employed as a salesman for Lowell Electric Supply Company and Ralph Pill Electrical Supply Company. Mr. White was an active member of the Countryside Bible Church in Lexington. He enjoyed being with his family and traveling to the Cape and Vermont.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy B. (Tessier) White of Lowell; three daughters and two sons in law, Kathleen Regan and her Husband Kevin of Lowell, Nancy Smith and her Husband Robert of Gloucester and Linda Greenwood of Methuen; two sons, Mark and David White of Lowell; five grandchildren, Margaret A. Regan of Boston, Kevin Regan of Arizona, Thomas J. Greenwood Jr. and his wife Bethany of Andover, Sean M. Greenwood and his wife Colleen of Windham, NH and Sarah A. Greenwood of Methuen; a great granddaughter, Grace Anne of Methuen; a brother, William White of Florida; two sisters, Mary Ann Fligg of Dracut and Dorothy Deschenes of Lowell and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. White was also the brother of the late Warren White.
WHITE- Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday Sept. 29 from 3 until 8 pm at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 NESMITH ST. (Rte.38). His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Sept.30 at the Talbot Chapel in the Lowell Cemetery at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in the Lowell Cemetery. Should friends desire, donations in his memory may be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St. Lawrence, MA. 01843. Arrangements are by the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, LOWELL.
