Mrs. Lillian N. Willis
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, September 26, 2010 at her home, Mrs. Lillian N. Willis, 91, wife of the late Ralph Burrows Willis, Jr. and mother of the late Robert Neely Willis.
Mrs. Willis was a native of Augusta and a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Waynesboro.
Family members include daughters: Harriet W. Gibbes of Greenville, SC, Louise Willis Adams (Douglas E. Adams, Jr.) of Evans; daughter-in-law: Diana Heppner Willis of Marietta, GA; grandsons: Frank Willis Gibbes, Peter Burrows Gibbes (Britts Adair Gibbes), Robert Franklin Clayton, Craig Willis Clayton (Melissa Hope Clayton), James Edward Avery III; granddaughters: Caroline Willis Bowers (Chad Bowers), Catherine A. Willis; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Hammond Cemetery in Beech Island, SC with Rev. Kit Brenson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 515 S. Liberty St., Waynesboro, GA 30830-1508.
