Wingfield, Greg Eric, 46, of Louisville passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at U of L Hospital.
Greg was a self-employed electrician and a Baptist by faith.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carmaleda Wingfield.
Greg is survived by his father, Leon Wingfield; brother, Michael Wingfield (Cindy); sisters, Deborah Wingfield and Rebecca Johnson (Joey); nephews, Seine Wingfield, Jonathan Wingfield (Madeline Ortiz), Gabriel Wingfield (Jessica), Justin, Brandon, and Ryan Johnson; niece, Tuesday Wingfield; aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Greg had a great love for animals, especially his companion, Harry.
Funeral service will be 11am on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with interment to follow in Lone Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-9pm on Monday at the funeral home.
The family wants to give special thanks to U of L Hospital for the care they gave to Greg.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
