Gail Virginia (Bacon) Koenig died Thursday at her Tyngsborough home in the company of her loving family. She was 69.
Gail was born and raised in Medford, the daughter of the late Philip and the late Virginia (Stebbins) Bacon. A graduate of Medford High School, Gail lived in Winchester for many years until eventually settling in Tyngsborough, several years ago. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed the company of her loving family and many dear friends.
The beloved wife of William A. Koenig, she was a devoted mother to William A. Koenig Jr. and his wife Linda M. of South Carolina, Linda S. and Karen L. Koenig both of Tyngsborough. She also leaves her sister Nancy Henderson of Medford and brother David Bacon of South Carolina.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. on Tuesday, September 28, at 10 AM followed by a funeral service in the First Baptist Church, Oakland St. Medford at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
