Joseph A. Uliano, a lifelong resident of Canton died peacefully at home surrounded by his family September 24, 2010. He was 77. Joe was a proud member of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He was a Commissioner of the Canton Recreation Department, a lifelong member of the Canton Town Club, a member of the American Legion Edward J. Beatty Post #24, the Knights of Columbus Council #2095, and the Stoughton Amvets. Joe was recognized in the Canton High School Hall of Fame and in 2008 was recognized as the Canton Citizen of the Year. Joseph Uliano was a dedicated volunteer to the citizens of the Town of Canton and will be greatly missed by all. Devoted husband of Patricia A. (Kett). Loving father of William Uliano, Sandra Macari and her husband Robert, and Jane Bates all of Canton. Loving brother of Margaret Brooks of Canton, Peter Uliano of Easton, and Gloria Bailey of Fl. Brother of the late Julio, Michael, Francis, Anthony, Paul, Felix, and Theresa Uliano, Henry Delmont, Phylis Klimas, Lena Taramino, and Anna Di Gregorio. Proud grandfather of Lisa Michaelson and her husband Eric, Bobby and Sam Macari, and Joseph Bates. Proud Great-Grandfather of Kayla Michaelson. Joe is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton Monday from 6-9 and Tuesday from 4-8. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church Washington St. Canton. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
