Jones, Dorris “Sue” Harrod, 88, of Louisville passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Hosparus Inpatient Unit downtown.
Sue worked 50+ years as a paralegal and was a Methodist by faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Carl Jones, Jr.
Sue is survived by her daughters, Donna Jones Adkisson (Charles), Vicki Jones Greco (Tom), and Denise Jones “Winkie” Foote; brothers, Bill Harrod and Gary Harrod; sister, Leann Marsili; grandchildren, Rick Adkisson (Renee), Leslie Sibert (Ross), Shelly Schroll (Michael), and Jim Vidal (Emily); 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two beloved pets, Annie and Katie Jones.
She will be greatly missed and will live in our hearts forever.
Funeral service will be 11am on Monday, September 27, 2010 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens – West.
Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Sunday and from 10am until time of service on Monday.
The family wants to give special thanks to Hosparus for the care they gave to Sue.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kentucky Humane Society or Hosparus of Louisville.
