Mary Rhea (DeRoy) Ober, 84, of Franklin died September 24 in Milford Regional Medical Center.
Born in Franklin, July 6, 1926, the daughter of the late George and Rhea (Henault) DeRoy, Mrs. Ober was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Mrs. Ober had been an aide at Wrentham State School for 26 years before retiring.
She is survived by her son Dale Ober and his wife Karen of North Smithfield, RI.
She is also survived by her brother George DeRoy of Harrisville, RI and her grandchildren Ryan and Jennifer Ober.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 28 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Franklin.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 6-8 p.m.
