Christopher J. Facha, 31, of Pheasant Run, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010. He was the son of Evelyn D. Facha of Smithfield and the late Joseph Rose, Jr. He had been a resident of Smithfield for many years.
Christopher was a graduate of Smithfield High School and worked at Poppa D’s Garage in Johnston.
Besides his mother he is survived by his siblings, Brian Rose of Lincoln and Jo-lyn Rose of Woonsocket, his grandmother, Pearl Rose of Pawtucket, his aunts, Priscilla Facha DiMaio, Michelene Traynor, his Uncle Paul DiMaio, his cousins Tina Facha, Nicole Holmes, Kimberly, Dennis, Emily and Holly Ramsey and Athena Traynor and many friends including Lisa McKay and her family and his beloved cat, Dre. He was the grandson of the late Evelyn Facha, John Rodrigues and Joseph Rose, Sr. and nephew of the late Florence Bell, and Joseph and Mark Facha.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11am in Our Lady of Grace Church,George Waterman Rd., Johnston, RI. Burial in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Providence. Visitation Saturday 9:30 – 10:30am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made Smithfield DARE Program, 215 Pleasant View Avenue, Smithfield, RI 02917.
