Obituary

Jeannine Gagner Turgeon, 71, died September 21, 2010, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Paquetteville, Quebec, on April 19, 1939, the daughter of Gerard Gagne and Gertrude (Breault) Gagne. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School, Biddeford, ME, class of 1957. In her early years, she was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed baking for her family and neighborhood kids. She later worked and retired in 2001 (after 25 years) from AIG Insurance.
She was a communicant and member of the Bereavement Meals Ministry of the Parish of the Transfiguration.
Mrs. Turgeon was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Fernand G. Turgeon, who passed away on December 12, 2004.
Family members include her daughters, Carol Turgeon of Goffstown, Jo-Ann Turgeon of Manchester, Vivian Nichols and husband Edward of Newfields, Chantal Guerrette and husband Michael of Weare; seven adored grandchildren, Stefan and Christina Sweren, Scott Turgeon, Caitlyn and Anthony Nichols, and Lucas and Lauren Guerrette; a sister, Beatrice Patenaude of Biddeford, ME; a brother, Roger Gagne of Sanford, ME; two sisters-in-law, Claudette (Turgeon) Boudreault of Anjou, PQ and Carmen Turgeon of Sherbrooke, PQ; two brothers-in-law, Herve Turgeon of Rutland, VT and Edgar Turgeon of St. Jean, PQ; and their families; and a special cousin/sister, Armande (Lavigne) Biron of Hooksett; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Alsace and Kelley Streets. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later time.
