Edison “Buddy” Williams, Sr. age 69, of West Green GA passed away on Sunday at his home. Mr. Williams a native of Wray GA was born December 05, 1940 to George and Ruby Gibson Williams. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Burial in the Bethany Church Cemetery. Survivors inlcude: Wife, Sharon Lewis Williams, Sons, Rev. Edison Williams, Jr. And George Dewayne Williams, Douglas GA, Daughters, Melba Jean Kirkland and Martha Williams, Douglas GA, Melandia Lusk, Bostwick FL, Step-sons, Jason Afaneh and Christopher Afaneh, West Green GA and Sanford Holden, Magnolia MS, Step-daughter, Teresa Cook, Hamond AL, Brothers, Edward Williams and George Jowers, Douglas GA, Sisters, Betty Mancil and Patricia Carver, Douglas GA, Twenty-four grandchildren and Five Great grandchildren.
