Obituary

ANGELO, Rosario W.- Of Malden, September 20th. Devoted husband of Theresa (Mooney) Angelo and the late Virginia (Catalano) Angelo. Beloved father of James A Angelo of Westerly, RI, Joseph W. Angelo of Lexington and the late John O. and Joan M. Angelo. Dear brother of Helen Valenti of Ohio and the late William, Joseph, Londo and Elizabeth. Cherished grandfather of Paul, Peter, Annemarie, Stephen, Joseph, Jr., Mark and Michelle. Also lovingly survived by his great grandchildren, Joseph, III, Elton, Eric, Xavier, Brooks and Mikayla as well as nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Monday, September 27th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Services will conclude with interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Rosario's name may be made to Tutwiler Community Education Center, PO Box 448, Tutwiler, MS 38963 or to St. Bonaventure Indian Mission, PO Box 610, Thoreau, NM 87323-0610.
Born in Pittsfield and a resident of Malden since 1942, Rosario passed away at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital at the age of 100.
For 5 years until moving to the Boston area, he worked as a welder in the Pittsfield area. His entire working career was spent working for the United States Government, first at the Watertown Arsenal, Boston Army Base and the the Department of Health, Education and Welfare on Boylston Street in Boston. He was also a member of the Arlington Men's Club.
